This is a poppy pod.
It reminds me of Little Shop of Horrors.
Feed me Seymour!
The pod opens up and out pops a big beautiful flower.
The flowers look like paper.
Today we had another poppy open up.
The inside is so pretty.
Yes at this point I am showing off my beautiful flower.
I love it!

Look at all the other pods.
So pretty!
Mother Goose with her goslings crossing the road.
Babies follow close behind.
Daddy at the back making sure they all cross safe.

I get a little closer to take a picture of the babies.
They start to run.
Then settle when I do not move.
Mother comes up to me and then I run!

he he those goslings are so sweet - funny one mum chasing off another mum. Ally do you know what type of poppy that is - it really is a stunner the colours are mouthwatering .... beautiful *!*

I am so in awe of your pink poppies! I've only got red ones, had never seen pink ones before! They certainly are beautiful flowers. Awwww I love the pictures of the goslings...how adorable! Yup, gotta watch for mama! lol xox
